The impact of newly introduced education policies and their influence on students’ learning outcomes are still unknown. The focus of this paper is to analyse the antecedents of new education policies to the student's learning outcomes. These policies endeavour to raise the standards of education by improving the curriculum, employing new teaching strategies, and the evaluation systems.
